Tackling rubbish
Residence around St Andrew’s Park noticed that throughout lockdown the St Andrew’s Park bins had become more of a problem. SAPRA have met with Mainstay to address this issue which should rectify the problem. In addition to this, SAPRA designed signs for the bins to encourage locals to take their refuse with them.
Community litter pick
Residents of St Andrew’s Park arranged community litter picking events throughout lockdown and arranged for the Council to remove the collections. Due to the success, we are working on this becoming a regular event. Volunteers are welcome!
