HillingdonFirst Card


As a resident of the Hillingdon Borough, you should apply for a HillingdonFirst Card. This will not only give you discounted parking, but also discounts in many restaurants, shops and leisure centres. More importantly, you will need your HillindonFirst Card to prove your residency to use our waste and recycling facilities.
Your HillingdonFirst card is also your library card.

Waste Collection and Rubbish Removal

Order food waste, garden bags and recycle bags

– In person, you can use your HillingdonFirst card in any library within the Borough to collect these (except garden bags).

Report missed collection

If your household waste is missed on collection day, you can report it here.

Large item collection (“Bulky waste collection”)

Bulky items include mattresses, sofas, wardrobes, beds, white goods, in place of one bulky item they also accept three black bags of unwanted small items such as broken toys. They do not collect any hazardous materials, boilers, building/diy waste, see link for further details. Large waste items are collected for a small charge of £25. For residents aged over 65, and those in receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), this service is free.

Fly-tipping

To report dumped rubbish (fly-tipping) within your boundary, a residential alley or a shared residential area follow this link. Action will be taken if the rubbish is a source of bad smells, hazardous to your health, attracting flies, harbouring rats and mice or a cause for safety concern.
